Located on the south coast of England, Portsmouth is a lively, cosmopolitan town with some of the best weather in the UK. In the center of this compact city are most university buildings. Anything students need is nearby, including outstanding nightlife and entertainment and accommodation, four miles of beautiful beach. Portsmouth accepts 5,200 foreign and EU students and has a total of around 31,000 students from around 150 countries.

150 sports clubs and societies are offered by the Students' Union for all interests, so there is still a lot of fun to be had on campus. Portsmouth is one of the most accessible student towns in the UK (NatWest Student Living Index 2020). London is just 90 minutes away and ferries fly to Europe on a daily basis. In realistic settings like the mock courtroom, Portsmouth focuses on making students more employable, with paying job placements, or opportunities to practice their skills. Recent scientific breakthroughs at the university include the creation of a plastic-eating enzyme to combat waste. By studying a language for free, volunteering, or sharing with another global university, students may enrich their experience. The Careers and Employability Service can connect students to opportunities including part-time work while they study and their first job after graduation.

The University Library is open 24 hours a day, with room for research and work of all sorts, there are conference pods for group work, endless tables around floors for solo work, and plenty of open-access computers, It is home to one of the few in-house catering facilities in the UK – Campus Dining – and has 10 outlets around our campus.

Master's scholarships are awarded to UK and EU students at the University of Portsmouth. This scholarship will be compensated towards the candidate's scholarship fee.
