The University of Plymouth is located in the largest city in the south-west of England, offering all the best parts of British life to foreign students. Nearly two-thirds of the research performed by the University of Plymouth were rated by the Research Excellence Framework as either world-leading or globally outstanding. A wave generator, a dive center, and three research vessels are included in its facilities.

From the commissioning of new music to cutting-edge studies, from open rehearsals and casual pre-concert talks to spectacular live shows, everyone can experience music at The Arts Institute. The Arts Institute is also delighted to support student musical creativity by taking an active part in the University's Music Week and other university/community musical societies, as well as leading seminars and informal lectures for the Children's University. The Levinsky Gallery presents an atmosphere that is often provocative, often stunning, and always thought-provoking.

The University of Plymouth, along with tuition fee loans offers a number of course-specific scholarships, Santander Scholarships, this scholarship is open to both graduate and undergraduate students who want to conduct a time of research, study, or work-based learning in the United Kingdom or abroad. For a variety of projects, including language exchange programs, initiatives to promote volunteering and the development of employability skills, a minimum of 20 awards ranging from £750 to a maximum value of £1,000 can be awarded.
