Imperial College London has campuses in nine different locations throughout London and the South East. The campus is large enough to house 17,000 students and 8,000 staff members. The campuses are conveniently accessible by public transportation because they are located in central locations such as London city and Canary Wharf. Four gyms, including the main Ethos gym on the South Kensington Campus, two swimming pools, and two sports halls are available at Imperial's London campuses. Imperial gives scholarships to the brightest students — those who have the capacity to benefit from the possibilities we provide and the desire to pursue a successful career in research, industry, or business. There are two types of scholarships available. Full scholarships provide tuition as well as a stipend for living expenses. And maintainence scholarships will only cover living expenses. The college offers undergraduate and doctoral scholarships to both domestic and international students. All scholarships are for the duration of the recipient's chosen study, which is normally three or four years.
