After gaining a letter of acceptance for USA universities, what do I do next?

An overseas education consultant can be your best guide to take care of all the formalities post your receive a letter of acceptance from a US university. The following are some important steps to take:

Apply for your students’ visa with the I-20 form to obtain your F1 Visa. Do not make an appointment for the visa interview without the I-20 form from the university.
Plan your finances- Till the time you get your visa collect your financial documents like proof of funds, solvency letter, loans sanction letters etc.
Accommodation- Start looking for accommodation in US, preferably in or near the campus.
Prepare yourself for University orientation by following the pre-admission toolkit shared by the university.

After I finish my studies, how may I change my student visa to a work visa?

Yes, you will need to locate an employer that will offer you a contract for at least a year, fill out some more paperwork, and pay a small fee to do this. As long as your employment contract is in effect, your work visa will be authorised.

Am I allowed to use a calculator during my exam?

You are not allowed to bring your own calculator for the exam. You will see an option for using an online calculator during the Integrated Reasoning section only. Calculators are not permitted during the Quantitative section. You will be provided with note boards and markers to work out your calculations on the Quantitative section. In addition, no personal items are allowed in the exam room. You will be provided with a locker for your personal belongings.
