What is the SAT?

“The SAT  is a standardized test administered by the College Board, widely used for Undergrad college admissions in the United States and many other countries to test student’s college and career readiness.”

How Should I Prepare for the SAT?

As the first step, take a diagnostic test to know your strengths and weaknesses on the various questions tested on the Math and Verbal. Get familiar with the test structure and get aware of how long a test SAT is. By then, you would also know that beating the SAT without techniques or strategies would be a great mistake. Join an SAT course with us. Learn the approaches and techniques, practice by implementing them on questions, and give mock tests regularly to keep a check on your performance and progress. Keep setting targets and strive to achieve them consistently. You will see a tremendous improvement on the score!

What Is the SAT Format?

The SAT is a 4 hour test inclusive of the essay, which is a 50 minutes task right at the end of the 4 Sections. Section 1-Evidence based Reading- 52 questions from 5 passages -65 minutes Break-10 minutes Section 2- Evidence based Writing & Language- 44 questions from 4 passages- 35 minutes Section 3- No Calculator Math -15 MCQs and 5 Grid in questions- 25 minutes Break- 5 minutes Section 4- Calculator Math- 30 MCQs and 8 Grid in questions- 55 minutes Essay (Optional)- 1 Topic- 50 minutes. Each MCQ has 4 answer choices. Questions come as easy, medium, and hard. Each comprises only 1 point. Questions in Math do have a rough order of difficulty, but there is no order of difficulty in the Verbal sections. Each of the Verbal and Math sections are scored on a scale of 200-800 which makes the Total SAT score on a range of 400-1600. The SAT is a Paper-pencil Test.
