SAT Test

SAT, a globally recognized standardized test for study abroad and UG admissions in the US, India, and beyond. Vital for college applications, it assesses overall student readiness. Owned and administered by the non-profit organization College Board.

SAT Registration Requirement

There is no specific SAT exam eligibility criteria defined for the registration of the SAT test. As, it is for an Undergraduate course so the candidates must have their higher secondary education degree.

How to Register for the SAT?

The SAT registration has four stages, the first is creating an account on the official site, filling the application form, choosing and booking the SAT exam date, and finally, paying the charges.

Registration deadlines fall approximately 4 weeks before each SAT exam date. Ensure that you book well within the deadlines.

STEP 1:

Visit the College Board Official Website and Create your account

Sign in to your free College Board account. If you do not have an account, create one account on the College Board Official Website by entering the basic information about you.

STEP 2:

Submit All the Required Details

Provide your full name and other identifying information. Make sure it’s the exact same name and information shown on your photo ID.

STEP 3:

Choose the Exam and the Test Center

Valid passport or Aadhaar card are the only accepted ID proof for SAT registration in India. Select the test date and the test center.

STEP 4:

Upload your Clear Photograph

Upload a photo that meets very specific photo requirements.

STEP 5:

Pay the Application Fee

Pay the exam fees through a Credit/Debit card.
Check out, and print your Admission Ticket.

SAT Exam Registration Dates 2024

SAT Exam Fee

• The SAT exam fee is $60 plus a non-US charge.
• The regional exam fees (for non-US residents) are $43 and must be paid separately. An Indian student must therefore pay a total of $113 to take the SAT.

Documents Required to Take the SAT

Original Passport / Aadhaar card & Printed Admission Ticket have to be taken along on the TEST DAY and the documents will be checked.

SAT Cancellation Fee

To cancel your registration, you need to pay $25. (The benefits of any test fee waiver will be returned to you.)

SAT Rescheduling

To change the test date, you must cancel and register for a new test. However, if you wish to change the test center, then you can pay an additional $25 and change the test center according to your requirement.

Late Fee Test Registration after Deadline

For registering after the regular deadline but before the late registration deadline, you need to pay $30. (Free with Test Fee Waivers).
