Pursuing undergraduate studies abroad is becoming increasingly popular among Indian students. The diverse choice of subject combination, flexible curriculum, state of the art infrastructure and world-class faculties are the primary reasons for students deciding to go abroad for their Bachelor’s program. A full-time Bachelor’s degree program is commonly a three or four year program. Students study general subjects in the initial years to fully understand what subject areas interest them and basis that they can opt for their major in third and fourth year, called junior and senior years.
Most colleges in USA and other countries accept or require SAT/ACT scores for undergraduate admissions. While admissions committees do consider other factors: including academic grades, transcripts, essays, extra-curricular activities, and contribution to the community, the test prep score is a critical criterion to get into a competitive undergrad school.
