MUTHUKUMAR PASUPATHY

Let me first begin by addressing the question-”Why, in the first place, did I choose to enroll in an admissions counseling program?” With loads of material being available on the internet on writing SOP, Recommendation Letters, etc, I was not much worried about these additional parts of the Graduate School Application. My problem was that I could not decide upon the universities to which I should apply. I feel that foreign universities are very good at presenting themselves (in terms of statistics, facts & figures, achievements, etc) to the prospective student community and hence I was simply not able to decide whether a university would be a good fit for me. In other words, I felt almost all the universities (which I browsed) were good for me. I did not know the method to evaluate the universities to find if they would be a good fit for me and if I would be a good fit for them. So I approached an admission counseling service mainly for the university shortlist.

And why did I join Princeton Review specifically? For the standardized tests like GRE and TOEFL, I did not join any classes but relied almost entirely on Princeton Review’s books like “Cracking the GRE” and “Cracking the TOEFL” and got good scores. So, I thought that I would once again work with them for preparing my applications. And this has definitely paid off as I have been accepted in more than half of the colleges I had applied. This also speaks a lot about their editing services. On the whole, it was a good experience working with them and I would recommend Princeton Review’s Counseling Services for those who are in the same situation as I was in.

VIJAY AGGARWAL

While I was doing my graduation, I always wanted to do MBA that to from a reputed University in the US. I had a very vague idea about the admission process. Then a very good friend of mine told me about The Princeton Review. I have since then had a very good experience with TPR. My councilor was extremely helping and understanding. He so many times went out of the way to help me and guide me right. He treated me like his younger brother. With his help and guidance, I got admission in Arkansas State University, which is indeed a very good university for MBA program.

I would advice everybody to take counseling from TPR as they are not only very professional in their field but they treat you as their family. So go ahead and fulfill your dreams.

SWAROOP GANGADHARAIAH

I have passed through the IELTS exam trained under The Princeton Review (TPR) Malleshwaram branch, Bangalore. The classes went on so well with the IELTS faculty.

After my IELTS results, I enrolled myself into PUACS scheme where the Manya group take care to place a student in a reputed university in the subject of interest.

I heartily thank the MANYA ABROAD for getting me an unconditional offer for MS in Drug Chemistry under Biomedical Science Department at Newcastle University, Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom. This ranks top 10th leading University in the world. Newcastle University has also been ranked seventh in the world for overall student satisfaction in the largest ever survey of international students (International Student Barometer 2008).

I like to put some words about the Manya Abroad; I have visited many overseas education consultancies where they make a business to place the students at universities in UK, US and Australian University which are not venerated. But when I went through the Manya abroad, they really meet the needs of the student, as they disquiet about the candidate future through removing illiteracy in our country by making the students highly qualified at most esteemed universities all over the globe.

SHYAMAL SUBRAMANYAM

I must first of all thank all the people from ACS who worked with me on this, my counselor and most of all my editor. Without you guys I would have had a hard time choosing my Universities and getting my applications out well in advance as I had planned out.

I am very satisfied with my counselor and we worked well together in choosing the universities. Although the end result shows that some were very safe. I guess that was the best university choice we could make at that time for me before the financial crisis struck and may have effected my applications. Our choice of North Dakota was a sure shot one where I got an offer, which stands by your guarantee of at least getting an interview call from one of the universities if not an offer. But all in all, my entire process was coordinated in an excellent and professional manner as I was offered assistance at very short notice on several occasions.

The editor assigned to me has done a phenomenal job with the editing of my essays. The editing work done on these drafts was just phenomenal which gave impeccable form and flow to my Statements. The editor’s dedication ensured all my editing work was completed before he had to take leave.

Thank you for your help an I hope you continue helping other students like me realize their dreams.

I am very much satisfied with the service provided by the Princeton Review. Earlier, before approaching the Princeton Review, I had short-listed few Universities according to my choice. But, I wasn’t sure whether I had a chance of getting an admission in those Universities. I also wasn’t very sure about the application criteria and I did not know how to rate my profile accordingly so that I can choose the right University to apply for. That was when I approached the Princeton Review requesting them to guide me through out the process.

The Princeton Review reacted back very quickly without wasting anytime and assigned a counselor for me. My counselor rated my profile accordingly and sorted out the right Universities that matched my profile and they were very good Universities and some were really better than what I had short-listed earlier. My counselor assured me that I had high chances of getting an admission in these Universities and my counselor helped me in completing the application for each University and that is where I personally admire my counselor’s patience.

My editor helped me a lot in preparing my SOPs and LORs in an organized manner. My editor increased the quality of my LORs and SOPs. I had just given a draft of all the information to my editor and it was my editor who took serious interest in sorting everything and entered all the information in an organized manner and increased the weight of LORs and SOPs.

Out of these 5 Universities that I had applied to, I got into 4 Universities and I got a 50% scholarship at Syracuse University and finally I have decided Syracuse University.

In case I get a chance to advice any applicant, I will always suggest “The Princeton Review”. Its because of the quality of your service in shortlisting the right Universities and the editing process and maximizing the chances of admission at every step.

SHUBHAJIT MITRA

I had enrolled for the GRE preparation as well as the ACS.I feel its worth and needs a mention. To start with, the GRE prep course and all the support that I got from the teachers is worth mentioning. The skills I learnt helped me to solve the problems in a prescribed time limit. But of course a good score demands both hard work from the students and the support of the teachers. Coming to ACS, it was a wonderful experience. Getting a good score is not the only factor that can secure an admission. Short listing the universities and writing the SOP could at times be grueling. I got calls from three schools with appreciable financial support. That would not have been possible without my editor. She edited my SOPs extensively. I am now joining the University of Wisonsin Milwaukee for my PhD in Molecular Microbiology with a financial assistance of 40,565 USD. I strongly believe that it would not have been possible without TPR, divine blessings and my hard work.

I am writing to recognize Princeton Review for their exemplary guidance through my MS application process. In the past weeks, I have been extremely impressed with my consultant’s knowledge, approach and patience. Most importantly, she convinced me to aim higher when short-listing the schools that I eventually applied to. With an average GRE score and a decent CGPA, few gave me any chance! But guess what? I was accepted to all the schools I applied to, which includes 3 of my dream universities. As a college student, my editor really helped me craft my statement of purpose in a certain way that would appeal to admissions. She helped me focus on the strongest aspects of my resume and directed me to take advantage of my greatest strengths. Overall, I am very impressed with this service, and I would recommend this service to others. In fact seeing my track record, some of my juniors already had shown their interest in joining Princeton review. I believe this itself is a testimonial to my experience.”

They say, “Winners don’t do different things; they do things differently”. Indeed, I emerged as a winner when, amongst thousands of applicants, I got admit into my dream university, Iowa State University. The step-by-step method of ACS, which was introduced to me by my Counselor, helped me shape up my entire application through every nook and corner. It all began with when he came up with a perfect blend of 5 universities that suited to my research interests as well my overall profile. My application could have been same as scores of hundreds of applicants to those universities. But what made me exceptional among them, was the exclusive quality of drafting work of my Statement of Purpose (SOP) and Resume by my Editor. Even when he was diagnosed with jaundice, he had made sure that all the above documents were complete and shaped up in the best possible manner within the stipulated time.

All these reaped in the form of mine getting admission with more than 100% aid, in these times of economic downturn, in the form of Graduate Teaching Assistantship (GTA) in Iowa State University and University of Kansas. ACS has definitely helped me a lot in shaping up my future. I’d like to thank all the above mentioned persons for their indomitable spirit in landing me in to my dream university.

The grades were there, so were the scores. But at the end of the day, what mattered the most was a coherent organization of all these which would get me admit into my dream university. Admissions Counseling Service (ACS) served to me as the perfect platform from where I could look forward to getting admitted into my destined university. The foundation was laid over by my Counselor who tailored my credentials and came out with a perfect match in the form of an array of 5 universities. Unification of my academic background with my present and my future goals, in a coherent and organized manner, in the form of Statement of Purpose (SOP) was made by my Editor.

All the hard work that we did together helped me in the realization of my dreams. I got admit in Michigan State University, Clemson University, Florida Institute of Technology and University of Wyoming. Even in these times of economic turmoil, I was successful in bagging up more than 100% scholarship, in the form of Graduate Assistantship (Teaching Assistantship (TA), and Research Assistantship (RA)).

Indeed a major share of my success is related with all of the above persons. I am really thankful to them for their untiring help, motivation and in their unending zeal in getting us through the top universities. I would encourage all the prospective applicants to have the services of ACS. Be it a Bachelors/Masters/Doctorate, each and every one of them marks a decisive point in our career which shapes our future accordingly. So, why not to start it in the best possible manner, with the ones who are the BEST?
