I can honestly say that the Manya Group's SAT preparation really helped me get the score that I did. My instructors, Tanmoy and Kritiga, were nothing but helpful and supportive, and without them, I don't think I would have done so well. I would like to personally thank them for all their efforts. I feel that the course was very well designed, allowing me to absorb all the techniques they provided me with, and implement them efficiently. The faculty really personalized the course to my needs, allowing me to do the best I could when it came down to the test day. I highly suggest Manya's SAT course for anyone who is serious about boosting their score.
I am very pleased with what Princeton Review achieved with my daughter Priyanka. At the outset before Priyanka was introduced to your program she was a little apprehensive about her approach to the SAT exam. Mr. Bandy did a tremendous job on clearing her concepts in Maths and the way he brought her up to speed in her approach she enjoyed the subject thoroughly. During her sessions with Ms Dolly Sharma she realized that just being good in English, which Priyanka has been since she was a child, was not good enough to score well at the SAT. Ms Dolly took Priyanka through many very thorough sessions in English which brought about a fantastic change in her approach and consequently boosted her confidence. I must thank Princeton Review and it's entire team for the tremendous support and the fantastic job they did in helping Priyanka get the highest scores (2390- 99 percentile) she could have ever hoped for in her SAT. Thank You. Rajiv Sethy
I am a student of 12th class who had enrolled for Princeton's SAT 1 on 1 coaching programme at Tarnaka, Hyderabad. The 3 months that I spent at Princeton to prepare for my SAT turned out to be very useful. I'm very much satisfied with the score of 2120 that I have received. When I first joined this institute, I got a mere 1600 in my diagnostic test, but in these 3 months, Princeton has transformed me into a 2100 scorer. To all those who are interested in scoring well in this test, I would suggest that Princeton is indeed the place you should go. Their material and their unique method of teaching is apt for any student who is planning on taking the SAT. the increment of my scores in the diagnostic tests during the course of these 3 months are a clear indication of the fact that Princeton is responsible for this. Lastly I would like to thank the Princeton faculty who always had faith in me and it is their support which has helped me reach this platform.
Firstly, I would like to thank Mr Narsing Rao and Mrs. Vani for the coaching provided. I found that it helped greatly. Both of you are highly experienced and skilled teachers and although, there was not much time to coach me, you did an excellent job. Your in depth knowledge of the SAT helped me to achieve a score of 2330. What I learnt during the period that I studied for the SAT was that the questions are not difficult, they simply require you to apply your mind. Where maths is concerned, the trick is to find faster ways of solving the sum than to struggle with it. Time management is of vital importance and I am thankful to you for teaching me how to pace myself. The tips and tricks to cut down on the time taken to solve a problem really help to improve the score. Writing the essay was probably the most challenging part of the test. Mrs. Vani did an excellent job in teaching me how to frame a crisp and concise essay within 25 minutes. The prep material provided has all the techniques needed to achieve a high score. My association with Princeton Review has been most fruitful. I scored 1830 in the first diagnostic test. Since that test my score rose by 500 points in the actual exam. I would like to thank you once again for assisting me in my efforts.
When you start out on a journey, you reach your destination only if you take the right decisions. My journey started when I decided to apply to universities abroad, and at the time, I had no clue how the application process worked. There were so many things to do, and very little time. SAT was one very important milestone that I had to achieve, and I had one month to achieve it. Taking SAT classes at the Princeton Review was one of my well made decisions. I started classes in mid-August, in order to prepare for the October SAT. I myself did not expect a high score. But with the help of Princeton Review’s expertise, I managed to score a 2330. My teachers were very helpful and supportive throughout. My verbal classes were taken by Juhi ma’am and my maths classes by Rinku ma’am. They were always there when I needed their help. They taught me several techniques by which I could ascertain the right answer and complete the test within the given time limit. They encouraged me and made me aware of my abilities. By the end of it, they were more like friends than teachers to me. The others at Princeton Review were also very helpful! They would give me diagnostic tests as per my convenience, helped me track my progress, and would readily answer by incessant questions about the application process. Although it is said that the SAT scores are only one of the factors taken into consideration during the admission process, a good SAT score can significantly enhance your chances of getting admission in a good US university. Princeton review helped me achieve this important milestone.
In my life, I’ve always strived for the best and college is no exception to that rule. Since I was little, I’ve wanted to go the Massachusetts Institute of Technology-a dream I seem to be on the way of achieving thanks to the Princeton Review. Everyone had told me that the SAT was a piece of cake and I could do marvelously with minimal preparation. But my parents pushed me to join a training program at the PR so that I could max it. I wrote my first diagnostic test and was aghast to note that the SAT wasn’t exactly the cake walk I’d expected it to be. I was constrained for time and though I am an avid reader, the reading section literally made me pull my hair out. I couldn’t imagine being in situation like that on the real test and I wasn’t. I started working with my Math teacher Ms. Shruti Khullar on techniques such as plugging in, ballparking, ratio boxes, average pies and a variety of crafty methods that still don’t cease to surprise me. My Verbal instructor Mr. Jasmeet Sondhi and I shared one too many enriching conversations about terrorism and many other international issues which didn’t only help me improve my essay score by a significant amount, but also improved my knowledge base and vocabulary. Silly mistakes in math and reading were my weakest points and both my teachers left no stone unturned to help me overcome those weaknesses. They were always there to lend a helping hand whenever I needed it and I am extremely grateful to them. Though I do plan to sit for the SAT again and improve my score further, I know that without the guidance and effort of my teachers at the PR, even a 2160 would have been difficult.
Princeton Review has given me an amazing atmostphere to study in. The teaching faculty was superb. And the innovative way in which they teach is very understandable. And they cater to the needs of each and every student. Thank you Princeton Review.
I think I made the right choice by joining TPR for SAT preparation. Earlier without any coaching i got 1500 score in the first diagnostic test but with the right guidance of the teachers and excellent techniques outlined in the study material i could improve my score to 1970 in the January 22 attempt. Thank you very much to entire TPR family which helped me.
The following is my score breakup for the December SAT administration: Critical Reading: 620 Math: 740 Writing: 750 (Grammar: 79 Essay: 8) Total: 2110 Learning at Princeton review was a refreshing experience. The classes and course content were tailored according to my needs and wishes. Be it mastering the Math shortcuts or fighting it out with the CR section, I thoroughly enjoyed it all! The faculty, except for one disillusioned fellow, was fantastic. They gave me what I wanted – a dissection of the SAT. Apart from teaching, they also appreciated my strengths and highlighted my weaknesses. Thank you guys! Sir, the 2110 would have continued to remain a far cry had it not been for the support that you provided me with. While I was busy fighting at sea, you played the sheath anchor’s role! You encouraged and cheered me when I felt jaded. You understood my innate desires. You read pieces my application. Believe me, you are a gem of a person. Just stay that way and continue to spread the light of learning. If all teachers were to be like you, I don’t think places like the Ivy League would have been elusive!
