  • Aradhana Aradhana is the Founder and Managing Director of Manya Education Private Limited (MEPL) which is the largest operation of The Princeton Review (TPR) outside the US and provides Study Abroad Test Preparation, Overseas Admissions Counseling, Language and Communication Training services. Manya has also partnered with QS which is the leading global enterprise for university fairs, rankings and publications. Aradhana is also a Co-Founder and Partner of Trivium Education Services Limited which offers outsourcing services in assessment development, e-tutoring, online scoring and grading & content support to education companies globally. Further, she serves on the board of Radiohms Agencies Limited (RAL), which is one of India's most prominent FMCG, Solar & Consumer Appliances product marketing companies.

    Aradhana holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the illustrious Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is also a Fellow of the fourth class of India Leadership Initiative Fellows and the Aspen Global Leadership Network.

    In addition to her mainstream career, Aradhana has been instrumental in initiating an after-school computer literacy program for children living in the slums of Okhla, New Delhi in association with the NGO Literacy India.

    When she is not working, Aradhana likes to spend time with her children and read non-fiction, spiritual books and biographies. Oh yes! Meditation (yoga) is something that keeps her healthy and rejuvenates her. People see her as a good hearted, fun loving, spiritual and eager person.

  • Monisha Banerjee, Business Head Monisha has been associated with Manya since its inception, which has given her great exposure and a deep understanding of the various facets of the Overseas Education Business. Driving quality and standards in the company in its initial days, she helped Manya scale up operations across the country by launching several products including the company’s fledgling ‘employability skills’ program. She has worn several hats at Manya over the years in strategy, product management, identification of new market opportunities, product launches, academics, L&D, product marketing and customer expectation management.

    Having done her postgraduate studies in Nuclear Physics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, Monisha is constantly intrigued by the potential of the unknown. She considers herself as an eternal student, intrinsically motivated by the various learning opportunities she comes across.

    As the Business Head - Study Abroad, Manya, Monisha is currently looking to strengthen the organization’s ideology of “Saraswati before Laxmi,” thus setting a culture of value-based, high quality and ethical business practices. A fundamental endeavour of hers continues to bring in best practices in employment and make Manya a preferred employer.

    When she is not working, Monisha prefers being at home with her two teenaged girls and husband. Other than that, she enjoys reading novels by contemporary Indian writers and vacationing with her family.

  • Rishi Josan Senior VP - Operations Rishi is equipped with a wealth of experience in the field of Marketing, Sales and Operations. In the course of his career spanning 20 years, he has established himself as a key player in strategic visioning/planning, sales & business development, channel sales, franchisee setup & management and corporate sales.

    A post-graduate in Personnel Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) – Pune, Rishi has a solid track record of 10 years of being associated with Titan Industries Ltd. followed by Modi Xerox, Bharat Matrimony and Onicra Credit Rating Agency of India Ltd. (Onida Group Co). As the Vice President, Business Development & Operations at Bharat Matrimony for three years, he was responsible for delivering value and volume targets across its 24 branches in India. He was also responsible for establishing and managing 110 franchised and company owned retail stores pan India.

    Presently, as the Vice-President of the Sales, Marketing and Operations team at Manya Education Private Limited, Rishi is optimally utilizing his diverse expertise to tap new markets and taking the organization into potentially exciting terrains.

    When Rishi is not working, he likes to watch movies and travel; you name it and he has seen it! He has traveled across 70% of India and wishes to cover the rest in the next few years. And yes! You may call him a foodie, as he simply cannot help it!

  • Himanshu Himanshu’s 12-year long career in sales & marketing with reputed names in the industry has endowed him with deep insights into Franchisee Acquisition, Management and Development. The experience he has amassed has also helped to establish him as an excellent team player with key skill-sets of Strategic Planning, Franchisee Acquisition, Franchisee Management, Business Development, Institutional & Corporate Sales and Client Retention.

    With a passion for sales, Himanshu kick-started his career in the education industry with one of the pioneers in the field of Embedded Systems & Training and created the channel partner footprint across the north Indian space. Having mastered the nuances of the franchise vertical in this role, he chose to test waters in the field of Office Automation and successfully led the entire Sales operations including, Channel, Institutional, Defense and Government Sales vertical for the sole Indian distributor of Mitsubishi Electric and GTCO CalComp, one of the leaders in Bluetooth enabled products. He has been instrumental in introducing and bringing Bluetooth enabled technologies to most of the Army Ops Rooms and Corporate Board Rooms across North India.
    Later, Himanshu’s penchant for the education industry drove him to work with well known names like Teamlease Services and IndiaCan (an Educomp Pearson JV) and he spearheaded their channel expansion across the north zone.

    After having acquired more than nine years of enriching experience in the education industry with a key focus on franchisee acquisition, Himanshu joined Manya in January 2013. He now envisages expanding the organisation’s current network of centers nationally and also taking the company operations into the neighbouring countries of Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

    Himanshu believes that his journey from being a professionally qualified chemical engineer to a trainer, a sales professional, and an education industry leader has been very rewarding.

    When he is not working, his leisure hours are distributed between activities like playing with his little tiger (his son), writing a book, capturing nature through his lens, and traveling.

  • Sonia Khanna Sonia brings to Manya over 17 years of progressive experience with companies of repute and a proven track record of handling the entire array of Human Resources Management including talent acquisition, talent engagement, performance, change and diversity management, policy formulation and execution. Her strength lies in designing and developing comprehensive HR systems and processes as well as creating smooth work flows. Building cohesive teams that are people friendly and committed to business success is her forte.

    Sonia’s academic background of Psychology, Labour Laws, Professional Social Work and Human Resources Management helps her to blend a strong people focus with business interests through leveraging some of the best HR practices. Before venturing into the Education Management sector with Manya Education, she had successful innings with the hospitality and ITES sectors, both in start-ups and established mid-size and large organisations like The Orchid, The Grand Group, Globerian and Aman Resorts.

    Sonia considers herself to be a mature and balanced professional, a problem-solver and a hands-on leader; she believes in developing people. Driven by challenges, she has a genuine interest in people and her friends and colleagues appreciate her spontaneous sense of humour. She likes to maintain an energised workplace with a friendly, collaborative and inspiring atmosphere.

    When Sonia is not working, she loves to sing, especially ghazals & Bollywood songs; play with her little one; go on day-outs & travel to places of scenic beauty.

  • Poonam has a sizeable experience of six years in the field of accounts & finance with various companies, viz., SSIPL Retail Limited, JHS Svendgaard Laboratories Limited, Cosmos International, etc. Her areas of expertise also include other related verticals such as IPOs, valuation of shares, mergers & acquisitions among others. She has been associated with MEPL since August 2011 and is responsible for handling accounts, finance, management information system, taxation, commercials and audits of the company.

    Poonam is a certified Chartered Accountant from the reputed Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

    When Poonam is not working, she loves to read books, listen to music and be close to nature.

  • Ruchi is an Economics graduate and possesses capacious teaching and training experience of over 15 years. As the better half of an Army officer, she has traveled extensively and been associated with multiple educational institutions and companies across the breadth of India including Carmel Convent, NIIT, Scared Heart, Gitanjali School, and others.

    Keen to expand her horizons in the education sector, Ruchi joined MEPL in 2005 as a Verbal Teacher and was successfully certified as a Master Trainer in 2008. Ever since then, she has been working towards devising key initiatives in teacher training and course development to suit the unique needs of Indian students. In January 2013, she joined the rarefied echelons of the Princeton Review Uber Trainers in the US with her appointment as the first Uber Trainer outside the US. She has also worked on content development projects for The Princeton Review and is one of the major contributors to the current GMAT courseware.

    Ruchi delivers dual roles in Academics and the Learning and Development functions, ensuring that MEPL maintains a consistent standard in the teams across its offices pan India. Her mantra has been to keep the academic bar raised sky high so that MEPL continues to churn out the much sought after ‘top scores’ that is one of the key ingredients that students need to accomplish their Study Abroad dreams.

    When Ruchi is not working, she takes pleasure in reading; she feels that a person who reads will never be lonely or short of friends! She is a part of a very small but extremely active Book Club as well. She also enjoys experimenting with different cuisines and traveling as much as she can; she recommends a visit to Kashmir to everyone as she thinks one should visit it to believe its incredible beauty!

  • Roopak Srivastava - Head – Information Technology Roopak is an ICT professional who possesses the perfect combination of business ingenuity, interpersonal skills and more than 14 years of versatile experience in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). His qualifications reflect his assiduousness and passion for IT; they include PhD – IT, PMP, ITIL, CISA Exam, NCFM, MSc (IT), MBA, C-DAC, MCP, MCSD, MCTS, MCDBA.

    Roopak posseses a rich domain experience of Banking, Finance, E-Governance, Real Estate and E-learning. He has worked with TATA Interactive Systems, Lavasa Corporation Limited, Indiabulls Technology and also PNB Housing Finance Limited. He has conceptualised, implemented and provided strategic leadership in areas pertaining to ICT such as:
    • Planning and creating IT strategy and architecture for enterprises
    • Deploying SAP ERP, software solutions and IT project lifecycle
    • Enterprise ICT infrastructure and automation; planning and execution
    • IT Governance, business analysis and change management

    He has specialized in:

  • Mr. Rajendra Prasad Khaitan is the founder of RAL Consumer Products Ltd. and its Chairman. He is also the Joint Managing Director of Indo National Limited (BSE listed company). A progressive thinker, industrialist and an avid social worker, he is actively involved in the betterment of the rural poor; ensuring growth of the country in future. He founded Salora International Limited ( BSE ) company in the year 1975. He brought Ericsson in India in 1969 in JV to make military switch boards in India. He launched Sony Ericsson in India and was responsible in making it the top 2 mobile brands in the country. He has managed successful JVs/partnerships in India with Matsushita, Panasonic, Daewoo, Ericsson,  Energizer Holdings, The Princeton Review, Luv n Care to name a few.

    He has been awarded the 'Electronics Man of the Year award’ for the year 2002 from The Consumer Electronics and Television Manufacturers Association (CETMA).  A passionate philanthropist, he spends 40% of his time in Vidya Bharti Akhil Bharti Shikhsha Sansthan which runs 13000 schools pan India  for the under privileged and Friends of Tribal Society has over 36000 single teacher schools across India. He is on the management comittees / boards of these organistations along with Chinmanya Mission, RamaKrishna Mission and Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College.
